Dream of the Endless (Morpheus) was the anthropomorphic personification of the concept of dreaming. He dwelled within a realm called the Dreaming, from where he controlled the aspects of fantasy and reality in the universe. He was the protagonist of Neil Gaiman's landmark Vertigo series "The Sandman".
